Rocky Mountain High

Just got back from coaching and performing at the Rocky Mountain District school, in Estes Park, Colorado. Had a terrific time working with some very fine RMD quartets, and singing on the big Saturday night show!

Estes Park is 90 minutes out of Denver, elevation 8,000 ft. plus. All tags are shorter at this altitude. Heck you can't even walk from the cafeteria to the lodge without getting winded! Oxygen molecules appear to be 18 inches apart, on average.

Posted a better than ususal gallery - take a look!

Telus Commercial

Yes, that is Realtime singing about wireless harmony in the Telus commercial currently playing on Canadian radio! Now we're *really* famous.

Realtime and the Northwest Iowa Symphony Orchestra

This evening was a moment in Realtime history - we sang for the first time with an 80-piece symphony orchestra! There were four arrangements for orchestra and quartet, including adaptations of Rocky Top and Loch Lomond, and arrangements of My Funny Valentine and Georgia On My Mind by Joe Johnson. Joe is really in his element with this jazz stuff, which you know if you've got a copy of "Ain't That A Kick" - he arranged Waltz for Debby as well.

We plan to put together a video as soon as we get the raw footage, so look for that! In the mean time, I believe I saw J. Trapp in the audience, so there may be bootleg video on YouTube tomorrow morning.

Thanks to Henry and the folks at Dordt college for having us! I think more symphony collaborations are in our future.
